Found out some..... Interesting new information.....
I was visiting my friend, at her house and her house is next to this old, abandoned house that belonged to a mobster and a person was shot and killed in that house. Well, me not knowing anything about mobsters and stuff, thought it was a local, not very famous mobster family. Apparently, I was wrong. The house belonged to someone of the Genovese family. As in The Family Five.
And that's my awkward history story.

After tons of tweaking I managed to get my laptop to a record low temperature, especially considering how warm is around here.


Pretty proud of it. Also learned that using a packet manager is more difficult than it looks.

In Baltimore City (Maryland) there is a lockdown going on. The entire city is in absolute chaos. There was a death of a 25 year old male, Freddie Gray, who was injured while in police custody but died while in a coma in a hospital. There was a protest and then the protest turned into a riot and that escalated and now three gangs have teamed up to take down the police and take over the city. They are the Black Guerilla Family, Bloods, and Crips.
I really hope something is done very soon to get everything back under control. I am freaking out. I have friends who live in the city area, where everything is happening, I worked in that area of the city. This hits extremely close to home. Something needs to be done.
The mayor of the city is not doing anything about it. She has told city police to stand down and let these rioters do what they want. Several businesses in the area have closed early and I don't blame them. I think the mayor really needs to get her crap straight. I believe that specialty forces need to be called in, because this riot is not ok. Nothing good is going to come out of a riot, destroying and looting places and potentially harming innocent people. It is not ok.

So I need a ruling from my dear lovely SE companions.

I have this race of humans, basically it's way back in history and they were the first to build boats and they have come off their island to wage war, rape, pillage and exterminate the other races. I picture then to be hard men, unyielding and total in their need for conquest. The thing I need help with is what I should call them.

Currently I am stuck between The Protocol and The Obligation. Which one sounds better my friends?

I would go with "The Obligation" has a better ring to it.


Something happened today.
I was about to leave for the store when my boss saw me. Asked why I missed the past couple days of work. Told him i had doctor appointments that involved taking my blood and that I needed to go back on my epilepsy medication. And he said, "have you ever ridden a dude and had a seizure at the same time? I bet he would get off pretty quick. We should do it and make a porno of it!"
He knows I have a boyfriend.
I can't tell my grandma because I know she won't believe me. She would say something along the lines of "I've known him for years, he would never say anything like that" I can't tell my dad, my uncle, or any of their friends.... They all say "he's a good guy, he would never say anything like that"
I have never felt so lost in my life. I don't know what to do, I don't know who to go to, I feel so dirty. I feel like I've done something wrong, or wore something wrong.

I vote for The Obligation.
(not helping that I'm too familiar with the word protocol as a biotech major :v)

For a moment, I witheld my response to this... My vote initially goes to the Obligation and my choice still remains.

And Akari, my girlfriend's mother had something similar happen where her boss said he knew her from when she was a stripper (which wasn't true). It really sucked and she tried to fight it and they ended up just moving her location which was really fucking stupid. The whole thing was stupid.

But I'd definitely say that you should reach out, family or boyfriend because that is unacceptable for him to say that to you. And of course don't blame yourself for anything because it's him.
